October 2024 the area around the dummy landing deck (airport south side) will be closed. This area will be converted into a solar park. This park starts from the main airport road and stretches all the way to the landing lights of runway 03.
There is a change that a new foot path will be made on the south side of the solar park. The current distance is just over 100m. From the new path it will be 220m.
